It would not cause harm to wildlife in case of ingestion.

The same system is used in large-capacity beverage filling lines operating in aseptic environment.The device is connected to 220V power and compressor. The device is maintenance-free and consumes nothing but electricity.
Use is simple - before placing the can in the filling device, the ionization gun is pressed for a few seconds and pointed into the can to remove dirt.
At the air connection from the compressor to the ionization gun it is necessary to install an air filter for particles size min. 5 µm with condensate drain.
